How to have Beautiful Skin

If you are in your 20s the best advice you can do now is to use sunscreen everyday. Make this a habit. There's a lot of skin creams on the market to choose from- Pond's, Avon, Aveeno, Neutrogena, etc. Look for a product with an SPF of 15 or higher. May creams na tinted na rin siya so pwede na siyang gawing foundation for everyday.

Read ingredients in products- these are the ingredients that are good for the skin- vitamin C, E, pomegranate, acai, mushroom, aloe vera, hyaluronic acid, peptides (great for wrinkles), and Retinol.

Work out and get enough sleep. Exercise reduces the free radicals in our body, protecting the skin.

Free radicals are caused by pollution, smoking, etc. These makes us age faster. 7-9 hours of sleep promotes collagen production and cell repair.

Quit smoking. Remember this quote from Dr. Fusco-"Everytime you light up, you're sucking on a wrinkle stick." Smoke is loaded with free radicals that damage healthy cells, and pursing your lips around a cigarette can create lines.

Avoid crash diets. Kung mag lose ka ng weight suddenly, you'll notice it will make your face sag. Better to lose weight slowly, so your muscles and fat can adjust.
Wear a big pair of sunglasses so the eyes and the skin around it is protected from the sun.

Drink at least 8 glasses of water everyday. Eat fruits and vegetables which are excellent for the skin.

Omega 3 oil (supplement) helps skin stay supple. Omega 3 can be found in nuts (walnuts) and fish (salmon, sardines).

To lighten spots, use creams with Vit. C ingredient and use a retinol cream at night to make the cells turnover faster. (Pond's concentrated resurfacing cream, Avon Anew Rejuvenate Night emulsion).

Take deep breaths. Stress is a big ager too. When you frown, you get more wrinkles. Try to relax thru meditation, walking, or talking to a friend. Do yoga.
